Lorenzo is a lovely Italian Restaurant based in Shirley. My friend Mairo invited me on several occasions and today was another great time to visit as I hadn’t seen her in a while. As soon as we arrived we were seated at our usual table by the window. The staff greeted us with a smile which made you feel welcome. The restaurant is very popular and people kept arriving which shows what a great place it is.
There are so many tasty dishes on the menu, it’s hard to choose. Every time I visit the restaurant I try to pick something different. Mairo and I decided to share 2 dishes which were the Ravioli Pesto (fresh pasta parcels filled with ricotta and spinach in tomato, garlic, pesto and cream sauce) and Fettuccine Salmone (fettuccine tossed with Smoked salmon, fresh asparagus, onions and cream) as we couldn’t decide which one we wanted. We both have tried the Ravioli Pesto and it’s so delicious we wanted to have it again.
The aromas from the kitchen made my mouth water and I was anxiously waiting for our dishes to appear. The ravioli was flavoursome and the creamy sauce was luscious. I had to mop up the rest of the sauce with my garlic bread.
Overall, the food was amazing with a capital A. The staff are friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere.
I hope you enjoyed. Please follow my blog to keep up to date with my latest posts. Until next time.
