Bullet Journalling

In an attempt to organise myself and my life, I decided to see what the Bullet Journal craze was all about. In 2016, my friend Mairo told me about Bullet Journalling so I decided to have a look on YouTube the font of all knowledge to research this new way of organising. I found a great YouTuber called Boho Berry, who had some great videos on how to plan and set up your journal. As soon as I finished watching the videos, I went online and bought a Dotted Moleskine Notebook and some pens.

Bullet Journal or BuJo for short was created by Ryder Carroll. It’s a tool for productivity and to keep you organised. Things have developed since I started in 2016 including a Bullet Journal App and a book called The Bullet Journal Method. Find out more about Bullet Journalling here.

I followed all the tips from Boho Berry’s video as well as some other I found.

  1. Created the following pages:
    • Index page
    • Future Log
    • Monthly Tracker
    • Daily Tracker
    • My Goals
    • Packing List
  2. Added page numbers to each page

As usual, I was enthusiastic and would create my monthly tracker with my to do list for the month. I would then create a daily tracker of tasks to be completed. I would complete 1 or 2 days then I would fall off track. I have a few pages left from this notebook which shows how much I tracked over the last 2 years.

I bought a new Red Dotted Moleskine Notebook for 2019. I’m currently in the process of organising the pages ready for the new year. I am determined to complete the bullet journal on a daily basis and make it part of my daily routine.

Here’s to great organisation. I will provide an update in February to see if i’m sticking to it. I’m hoping I will be; determination.

I hope you enjoyed. Until next time.
